Unite In Solidarity | Sticker

This is a waterproof, vinyl, glossy sticker. 

This design actually won me a t-shirt design contest with Zumiez and Petals and Peacock in 2018! I got flown out to Seattle to go to the Zumiez headquarters and got to attend Petals and Peacocks business meetings with Zumiez about future seasonal lines. It was so freaking cool. 

The Unite In Solidarity design represents the much needed representation of solidarity among three margainlized groups.

The Tiger represents a symbol created during World War 2 to instill fear that Japanese and other Asians were taking over the US and the world. During the 60's many Asian American Activist reclaimed the symbol and term as a form of empowerment. 

The Butterfly represents peaceful migration among immigrant communities. Recently, the Monarch butterfly has been an emerging symbol in protests and activism around immigrant reform, particularly regarding the Latino and Chicano community in the US. 

The Black Panther Party represents Black power which was established by the Black Panther Party in the 60's. The Black Panther Party was founded by college students in Oakland and became a well known organization that provided free breakfast to children, self-defense classes to the community and established 10-point program that stated their ideals and ways of operation.
